Completing the Application for a CampBrain
ACH/EFT Merchant Account
Please read the information on this page before completing an online application.
Please read the following information before continuing on to the online application.
General InstructionsThe Online application connects to various automated background and underwriting services. Assuming no incorrect information is input, we can generally board a new Camp within minutes. If you have any questions at all about what should be input, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your question(s).
Intended Use and Most Transactions Via fields
Intended Use field: In almost every case for a Camp applying for an ACH/EFT account, at a minimum Sales will be chosen. If you opt for the ability to send funds out for either Direct Deposit Payroll or to electronically pay vendors, you would choose Both Sales and Payroll / Vendor Payments.
Most Transactions via field: The correct choice is Internet in most situations.
“Sales” Amount fields
All of these fields pertain to the Transaction amounts that you expect to process via ACH/EFT and NOT your overall camp related sales. Essentially what you are being asked is Where should we establish your ACH/EFT processing limits.
Average Sale Amount: Your best guess at what your average ACH transaction amount might be. If you already have a credit card merchant account, the average amount of transactions via credit card transactions should be a close guess.
Maximum Sale Amount: This is where your highest single transaction limit amount will be established. It is possible to have this amount adjusted in the future, but take a close but reasonable guess. Maximum single transaction amounts of $1,500 and greater may be subject to additional underwriting document requirements.
Annual Sales: Your best guess at the dollar amount that you expect to process via ACH/EFT over a single year. An annual amount that exceeds $3,600,000 may be subject to additional underwriting document requirements.

What happens after I have submitted the online application?
Most camps applying will be on-boarded within minutes. You will receive a welcome email that is sent to the administrator on file for the camp. This email will contain a login for an online portal where you can generate your API keys to be entered into the Camp Brain website. Future instructions here…
Canadian applicants are not auto approved as the background checks are not as automated as the U.S. applications. The camp administrator will receive an email from the underwriting department with any documents required or additional information needed.
Those U.S. camps that are not automatically approved would be sent an email to the admin of the applying account for any additional documents required or additional information needed.
